We were at the brand new Sydney Baby Show this month at the Royal Hall of Industries.

Thanks to those of you who popped by to say hello, it's always nice to hear how you are getting on with your signing.

We will be at the Pregnancy Expo in Melbourne in a few weeks time so hopefully see you there, until then....

"Dear Jackie,

I wanted to take the time to say thank you for enriching not only my daughter's life but my whole extended family's lives with the gift that is Baby Hands.

My daughter Natasha (now 15mths) started signing at 6mths with 'cat' and 'bed'. Now 9mths on, she has a rather large repertoire of 35 odd signs which includes many animals. This was recently highlighted with a trip to the zoo with my parents, where she very excitedly signed not only the animals she knew, but also combined them with the activity they did ie ‘elephant eat , ‘elephant ball’ and ‘tiger bath’ (swim) which just blew us all away!

I can say with confidence that Natasha is the very happy, easy going little girl she is today thanks to her ability to communicate with those around her through signing. Soon to be a big sister to twins, I have no doubt she will have them signing in no time, as she often tries to teach her signs to the other kids she plays with.

I have attached some photos for you: signing ‘eat’ while watching the elephants, signing ‘giraffe’ and although blurry – signing ‘bath’ while the tiger was having a swim.
