The best thing about Australian Baby Hands are the amazing
stories I receive every week. Narrelle Mannaerts wonderful
story shows how clearly babies can think and communicate
if they just have the right tools.
"We started signing with Jed when
he was only a few weeks old, more at that stage to get ourselves
into the habit. He is now 21 months old and uses over 70
signs. He also speaks as many words and we are convinced
that the signing has helped his language development because
he learnt at a very young age that he can communicate.
He tells us what he wants, and also tells us when he
sees something so we can have a conversation, it is great
knowing what he is thinking. We have never had tantrams
out of frustration and he does not sqeal to communicate
like I know many children do! Deciding to sign with him
