Introducing signs for every day objects is one thing as you can easily show your baby a book, a dog or a tree. But what about more conceptual signs? This month we look at ways to introduce the concept of "more" through sign.

"Hi, I wrote a couple of months ago saying I have had no luck with my son signing as I didn't get much support from people but you told me to stick to it.

Then one night I walking past my fire place and my son did the'hot' sign whilst trying to pronounce the word.

He now does up to 10 signs ( much easier when bed time as he tells me) and his vocabulary is improving everyday and he is only 12months.

It's also amazing that the person who didn't support me walks around showing of to people how his son does sign!
As my son gets older and learning new signs communication between us will be much easier, thankyou."
