Your Stories:

My thanks to Pam for her story below. A wonderful example of how baby sign can show you what your baby is aware of that you cant see.

"Hi Jackie, Hooray we've had success! I started signing at 6 months and at 12 months Denise had a wonder month - started walking, sprouted more teeth and started signing back.

First sign was bird. We were in the garden and she was signing bird but I couldn't see any birds, then a pigeon hopped out from behind the wall (Denise could see it but I couldn't).

She is also signing milk, duck, mummy and dog. Dog also seems to be used for pretty much every animal or tv character!

Now working on more, kiss, eat/food, drink, fish and story.
It was hard to keep motivated and to remember to sign after the first 2 or 3 months with no result, but it's so much fun now.
