Your Stories:

Hi there Jackie,

Just a quick note to say 'thank you', we introduced baby sign language to our 5 month old and it has been a fantastic experience as a mum. I really wish I had done this with my first born.

I honestly cannot believe how fantastic this is! Sophie who is now 18 months old is such a happy little being, who has been able to communicate with us using her sign language, she has been able to tell us she is hungry, wants to eat, that she wants to drink either water or milk, tells us she is tired wants to sleep and also tells us she needs a nappy change. She is now beginning to talk and she has a huge vocabulary.

As a mother that was frustrated with the first born and could never figure out what they wanted when screaming, second time around I could swear without a doubt that sign language as produced a happier calmer child, she is just brilliant because she has been able to communicate with us.

I was skeptical at first, thinking this was not possible to teach sign so young, but I cannot scream loudly enough from the roof tops on this, all first time mothers should know about this, it should be giving out at the hospital, it should be the first gift you buy a friend that is is just simply fabulous!

Thank you! thank you! thank you!
