A Happy Belated Halloween to you all. I hope you all got lots of nice treats and no tricks were played on you ☺

Last weekend was my Grandmother's 96th birthday. I am very blessed to still have her in my life and I dedicated my book, Australian Baby Hands to my Gran as she has always been my number one supporter and a major influence in my life.

So Granny, Happy Birthday again!

Your Stories:

"Hi Jackie,

I have certainly had good experiences with baby signing. I have 3 children that have learned to sign and I am currently teaching my 5 1/2 month old baby. He has not yet signed but he is watching whenever I do a sign. I am currently teaching him "milk" and "potty". It is amazing how quickly my babies have all picked up these 2 signs!!

I have never had the struggle of my baby crying uncontrollably because I have always used the sign language. It is something that previous to me using it, my children's grandparents had not heard of. Now Grandma is learning too and explains to other people what the child wants. My little girl, who is 22 months, when she is finished her food at lunch time, will sign "finished" and "down please" and then sign "sleep" , as she has her daytime nap after lunch. It is wonderful to have something to bridge the gap till they are able to talk."
