If you are in Albany and get the local paper the Albany Advertiser you can see Karina our Albany based baby sign teacher with her 18 month old son Micah in an article about her and how Karina started her journey into Baby Signing.
Karina has been running her classes for a few months in the Albany area but has been using baby sign with her own family and during her teaching of year 6 students for quite some time (more…)
Our newest baby sign teacher Avonna was recently asked to do a piece for Today Tonight in Adelaide.
I think Avonna did a wonderful job as she didn’t look at all nervous despite the fact that they were filming one of her very first classes, so well done Avonna.
You can check out the short clip below where parents are interviewed about their experience with baby sign as well as featuring some signing babies at various Baby Hands Classes.
If you would like to know more about Baby Hands Classes or contact any of our Baby Sign Teachers to find out more information about classes in your area you can contact them directly through the information on their page.
After all the Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Expos that we have done over the years we are finally coming to Perth
This years Pregnancy, Babies and Children’s Expo in Perth will be the first one that we have ever attended so I hope that you will come along and say hello.
Along with hundreds of stands and exhibitors you will find expert advice along with a huge range of products and FREE family entertainment to keep the kids occupied.
Come and visit with other baby signers in your area and get to meet our Northern Beaches Baby Sign Teacher Lena Lowe and myself as we celebrate Lena’s one year anniversary.
If you have already been to one of Lena’s baby sign classes you’ll know what great fun they are and if your just curious what they are all about then this is a great opportunity to come along and talk to Lena and myself about any questions that you have about baby sign.
For the seasoned baby signers among you it will be a great chance for you to catch up with classmates and to meet other parents who are on the baby signing journey too.
There will be morning tea for you as well as fun activities and games for your children and of course a Teddy Bears picnic wouldn’t be complete without a Teddy Bear so Sammy will be there too.
When and where:
Sunday 21st March between 10am and 12pm

We also have free tickets worth $20 for all our blog readers. Just click here to download your ticket and print out a copy to bring along with you on the day.
We are at stand 161, just inside the door on the left near the baby feed and change area so I hope to see you there.
If you are not in Melbourne but live up in North Queensland Emma our Cairns baby sign teacher will be at the North Queensland Baby & Childrens Expo this weekend as well.

For those of you that missed it you can watch it below here, I’d recommend pressing play and letting it buffer for a few seconds (this will also allow you to skip over the ad at the beginning).
Thanks very much to Katica and baby Marley for coming in with me. They have been attending classes with Catherine, our in Inner West teacher. Marley did really well under the bright lights and pulled out quite an impressive array of signs. If you watch closely you will even see that when he is first asked to sign “cat” he signs “where” as he is looking for the cat.
